Who the hell said
Some say it all began in Africa. But others know that it actually began in India back in time wrap. Spawning from the seeds of discovery, evolution soon took its course and a whole civilization of like-minded finger lickin’ music producers, DJs, and supporters joined forces around the feverish campfire. Chants of gnarly basslines and sirens of sticky warps echoed across dancefloors on all corners of the earth.

Do DJs matter?
HELLS YEAH! DJs matter a great deal. DJs make all the difference. Some DJs work with you, some DJs work against you. And some DJs are telepathic. I.e., they can TELL when what is really necessary is an excruciatingly sweet and melancholy waltz - mmm -and then again they seem to KNOW when what you really need is a nice goofy milonga to chill things out.
I believe that DJing is an act of creativity on a par with dancing itself. The best DJs are balanced, flexible, and inspired. They invest in humongous, eclectic music collections from which they select a suite of traditional and nontraditional songs to structure evenings of great loveliness for all of us dancers - most of whom are blissfully unaware of their behind-the-scenes work!
Therefore, with no further ado, I am pleased to draw your attention to highly telepathic masters of spin: the DJs

Make a wish
When the night comes, look at the sky. If you see a falling star, don't wonder why, just make a wish. Trust me it will come true,'cause I am sending my genie to you. I do not think much, I do not think often, but when I do think, I think of you. I love all the stars in the sky, but they are nothing compared to the ones in your eyes! You can fall from a mountain, you can fall from a tree, but the best way to fall, fall in love with my music.

“DJ”
A disc jockey (also disk jockey or DJ) is a person who selects and plays prerecorded music for an audience. Many DJs also speak to the audience, either to give the names of the songs and information about the performers (radio DJs) or to rap or chant along with the music (reggae DJs).
There are several types of DJs: radio DJs play music that is broadcast on AM, FM, shortwave or digital radio stations; club DJs select and play music in a club, disco, a rave, or even a stadium;hip hop disc jockeys select, play and create music with multiple turntables as a hip-hop artist and/or performer, often backing up one or more MCs; a reggae disc jockey (deejay) is a vocalist who raps, toasts, or chats over pre-recorded rhythm tracks; and mobile disc jockeys travel with mobile sound systems and play from an extensive collection of pre-recorded music.
The term was first used to describe radio announcers who would introduce and play popular gramophone records. These records, also called discs by those in the industry, were "jockeyed" by the radio announcers, hence the name, which was soon shortened to DJ or deejay. The physical act of selecting and playing sound recordings is commonly referred to as DJing (or deejaying), playing or spinning. The resulting performance is called a DJ set.

My Roots I will never forget

Rise up this morning to behold a bird making a nest on my door step, as I watch the bird go back ,and forth gathering the straw to make her nest to lay her egg it bring I man great joy to know that the bird choose I man house to make her nest. I man roots I will never want to forget I will always remember the roads I travel doing the work of His Majesty.
The Creator have taken I man from the cellar. He gave me music to travel the world, and to spread his message. Sometime I ask His Majesty when I will be discharge from this duty. If I man question his wrong I ask His Majesty to forgive I man. From this work I have experience great joy, and great pain. I know many of you have also experience the same thing I man have experience from your day to day life experiences.
I sometime have to ask why some people see music as a mean to hustle money. They don’t realize that music is more than what they think. And no matter what they do they cannot hurt music. Music is the people music, and carries no compromise. Are the legal hustler’s lives any better than I man life are they happy?

Without the illusion of nobility and artistic credibility on the part of musicians there can be no magic. And without the magic there can be no fantasy to inspire loyalty. And without loyality there is no music.

History is back
The first voice of an Indian person was recorded by the Gramophone Company in 1899 in London. In 1902, first gramophone disc was cut at Calcutta. During this long period, many record manufacturing companies have recorded Indian music. Although HMV - His Master’s Voice - continues to enjoy their monopoly in this field, about half million gramophone records have been manufactured and marketed in India under variety of banners and labels. Large number of artists have recorded various musical forms and styles from different regions of Indian subcontinent. Of course, a major portion of these recordings belong to Indian film songs. However other forms like classical, light classical, folk, religious music etc. have been recorded extensively.

It promotes spatial awareness, abstract and mathematical thinking, physical coordination and self-esteem. Furthermore, it is a way to learn about diverse cultures and historical periods, and it teaches an individual to cooperate with each other through group rehearsals and performance.
Music's direct effects are far more important than its side effects. Music is as fundamental to thought as is mathematics; it does not merely promote abstract thinking, it is one of the highest forms of abstract thought; music is not merely good for self-esteem, it sensually, intellectually and emotionally organizes the mind. This is an ancient concept.
Plato wrote in The Republic: "...rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul, on which they mightily fasten..." Pythagoras and his disciples understood music to be the "harmonization of opposites, the unification of disparate things." These ancient definitions of music, which we should broaden to include the arts generally, find resonance in current neuroscience research that defines creative activity in the brain as the merging of reason and intuition. Neuro-scientist Antonio K. Damasio has compared the workings of the mind/brain to a musical score. Beethoven, who knew little or no science, sensed the value of the comparison in 1824. He wrote: "I wish you all success in your efforts on behalf of the arts; it is these, together with science, that give us inclines of a higher existence and the hope of attaining it."

When a woman raised her hand and gently asked, "What kind of music does God like?" I stood motionless for a few moments, a glazed look passed over my face, and then profoundly muttered," ... I have no idea ... "
